Northallerton is on the East Coast main line from London Kings Cross. A taxi service is available for the 6 mile journey to Scruton, or we can arrange a lift for you.

Automobile

From the A1

Leave the A1 at the A684 Junction (Bedale and Northallerton) and follow the A684 east towards Northallerton. Pass through Leeming Bar then, after approximately 1 mile, look for a crossroads on a slight rise with a left turn for Scruton. Turn left towards Scruton.

From the A19

Northallerton can be accessed from the A19 southbound via the A684. After exiting the A19, follow the A684 through Northallerton town centre, then west towards Bedale and the A1. Pass though Ainderby Steeple and Morton-on-Swale, then, after approximately half a mile, look for a crossroads on a slight rise with a right turn for Scruton. Turn right towards Scruton.

And then…

Drive through the village, pass the Coore Arms on your right, then look for a right turn signed Village Only. Turn right and follow the road for approximately a quarter of a mile. East Grange House is cream, rendered farmhouse on your right. Turn immediately right onto East Grange Close where you’ll find a rear entrance and parking.
